We know that there are many deserving causes for you to support but the work of Cerebral Palsy Africa is vital because so there are now so many children with cerebral palsy in Africa and they and their families suffer because there is so little provision for them to receive the therapy and education that can enable them to live productive lives as part of society instead of being hidden away. CPA provides training and support for local therapists, community workers and teachers who give assistance for young children at a time when that assistance, whether it be physiotherapy and occupational therapy or the provision of specially adapted furniture, can make a long-term difference to their lives.
